Application summary

・目標医薬品規制調和国際会議（ICH）等において、現在進行中ないしは近々取り上げられることが予測される課題に対するガイドラインを作成するために、産・官・学の専門家が連携して国内意見をとりまとめ、必要に応じた調査／試験研究を推進することが求められている。また、科学の進歩や医薬品等の開発状況に応じて、新規ガイドライン案の作成、既存のガイドラインの改定案を先導することを企図して本邦から課題を提案することも重要である。加えて、他極からの課題提案に対しても、専門家集団を構成し、必要に応じた調査／試験研究を推進する必要がある。本研究においては、ICH等での議論において必要とされる調査／試験研究を推進することで、医薬品の品質・安全性確保のための新規評価手法等の国内基盤を整備し、更に国際調和を図る。・求められる成果 ① 医薬品を適切に評価しうる、国際的に協調可能な新規品質・安全性評価法の調査、試験研究及び開発 ② 日本主導で開発された医薬品における品質・安全性評価に係る課題の洗い出しとその対処のための国際的に協調可能な新規評価法の開発 ③ ICH 会合等の国際的議論への参加、科学的意見の提出
