Application summary		将来に渡り、幹細胞・再生医学分野において我が国が世界をリードし、難治性疾患等に対する革新的医療技術を創出するためには、中長期的な観点から、将来の再生医療等の実現や幹細胞を用いた創薬応用の可能性を広げる基礎的研究を推進することが重要です。このため、幹細胞・再生医学分野の発展及び次世代の革新的な再生医療等の実現や幹細胞を用いた創薬応用に資する目標達成型の基礎的研究の支援を行います。 なお、本プログラムにおいては、国際的競争力の高い研究成果が期待できる、革新的・独創的な発想に基づく優れた研究を重視します。また、幹細胞・再生医学分野におけるイノベーション創出に資する異分野連携・国際性を有する研究も重視します。再生医療分野の裾野を広げ、幅広い研究シーズの発掘、人材育成を目指します。
Application targets		申請は、大学等（公募要領参照）からに限り、研究開発代表者は国内の大学等の研究機関に属する者に限ります。企業等が分担機関や協力機関に加わることは可能ですが、AMEDからの研究費支援は大学等になります。 ②　若手：研究開発代表者及び研究開発分担者ともに、若手研究者（下記を参照してください。）とします。研究開発協力者として研究費支援なく研究開発提案課題に参画する場合には、若手研究者に 限りません。 【若手研究者】 ・令和3 年4 月１日時点において、博士等の学位を有する者又はこれと同程度の研究能力があると認められる者。ただし、医師（日本の医師免許取得者）については、博士の学位の有無に関わらず医学部卒業後2 年以上を経過した者。 ・当該事業の研究グループ等に参加している期間中、他の職を主たる職としない者。 ・令和3 年4 月１日時点において、年齢が、男性の場合は満40 歳未満の者（昭和56 年4 月２日以降に生まれた者）、女性の場合は満43 歳未満の者（昭和53 年4 月2 日以降に生まれた者）、又は博士号取得後10 年未満の者が対象です。ただし、産前・産後休業又は育児休業をとった者は、満40 歳未満又は満43 歳未満の制限に、その日数を加算することができます。
